Alphados Retail is C & J Clark's sole international franchisee for Iraq - the company was formed on the 1st of January 2012 and started trading in mid-August of 2012 from one shop in Erbil, Iraq. During 2013 four more shops were opened. Revenue from the 1st shop alone in the first 12 month of trading was nearly 1M$ -forecast revenues are 20M$ when the chain is fully rolled out in another 3 years. The localized approach using local people allows Alphados to quickly and efficiently role out a retail business for any franchise in many countries. Also the current knowledge and infrastructure allows Alphados to easily move goods to and from Iraq.
